Jodi served her articles of clerkship at Norman Sher and Associates. During her period of articles as a candidate attorney Jodi assisted directors of Norman Sher and Associates in the Litigation Department, during this period Jodi was exposed to High Court and Magistrate’s Court litigation, and she gained invaluable experience in litigation. Jodi was admitted as an attorney in 2012.
From May 2011 to July 2012, Jodi worked as a Registrar of a well-known Judge of South Gauteng High Court. During this period as the Registrar of the Judge, Jodi was exposed to High Court litigation, legal research and general management of cases.
Jodi joined FWB, Johannesburg in 2013, and was appointed as an associate.
She was subsequently promoted to senior associate at FWB in 2016, a position she holds to date.
Jodi has worked with various directors and partners of the firm, across different areas of specialisation of the firm, which are inter alia, commercial litigation, insolvency law, business rescue, liquidation of companies, arbitration, labour law, etc. Jodi has gained extensive experience as a litigator in the four years post admission Jodi has, and has found her niche in corporate and commercial litigation. Jodi has recently joined the Labour Department, wherein she assists David Short.
