Bob Groeneveld is a Director of Fairbridges Wertheim Becker and head of its Corporate and Commercial Department in Cape Town. He holds the degrees of BComm, LLB, LLM (Cum Laude) from Stellenbosch University. He was admitted as an attorney in 1998.
Bob has extensive experience for both domestic and international clients in a wide variety of areas of commercial law. This includes creating the necessary framework for take-overs and mergers, the structuring and restructuring of businesses and the required regulatory, competition and tax law issues. He has designed and drafted contracts to meet the needs of clients in the petroleum, financial services, mining, telecoms and agriculture industries as well as the general commercial arena.
